Imperfection can be the strength needed to create something never seen before. Respectfully, screw the rules, the guides, and how things are “supposed to be”. You can wear whatever the hell you want.

Wither designs unique and meaningful pieces with history as rich as yours. 

Whether its made out of a garment that was loved to death or never worn even once, its existence is reborn in a small studio in Los Angeles.

Wither pieces are all painted, stitched, distressed, and embellished by hand. An extremely slow design process of fitting and modification goes into each garment.

Q&A

1. Is every piece by Wither made from upcycled/thrifted/used materials?

Yes. The base garment is always made from upcycled clothing/fabrics. Additions such as lace, patch material, beads, etc are as often as possible upcycled, thrifted, or deadstock. Hardware, zippers, and closures are as often as possible deadstock. 

2. Are all Wither designs original?

Yes. All clothing designs, artwork, and prints are original to Wither, with the exception of one print, which is a recreation of a woodblock print from The History of Witches and wizards By W.P. in year 1720. 

3. Is Wither a small business or is it secretly owned by another horrible business?

Wither is a small independent business run by 1 person (artist & owner). 

4. Does Wither manufacture anything? Does Wither have anything made in a factory?

With the exceptions of stickers, nothing is produced in a factory. All work is completed in a small studio by the artist.
